The journal Management international (Mi) was created in 1996 by Taieb Hafsi, full professor under HEC Montréal’s Strategy and Society Chair of Management and member of the Royal Society of Canada. Mi is an independent university publication.  It publishes French-, English- or Spanish-language articles on various aspects of general management on a global scale, and targets academics and managers who wish to stay at the forefront of knowledge in their field. Miseeks to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and practices in international management by publishing typescripts devoted to empirical studies, theoretical analysis, and well-founded opinions from researchers interested in international issues. Mi therefore plans to encourage debates that can advance our understanding of many facets of general management on an international scale.

Mi is published with backing from the Fonds de recherche Québec (FRQ, society and culture), the HEC Montréal Foundation, and partnerships established with Paris-Dauphine, the Faculté de Sciences Économiques et de Gestion (FSEG) at Université de Strasbourg, IAE in Nice, and the associations Atlas-AFMI and AGESCO.
